Alizah Kaplove
LSW

Hi, I’m Alizah. I’m a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) with over eight years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely understood, so I take time to get to know you—not just your symptoms, but your story, your relationships, and what matters most to you.
I work with people navigating anxiety, depression, panic, OCD, eating disorders, self-harm, and suicidal thoughts. My approach is both compassionate and grounded in evidence-based care. I’m trained in EMDR and use Attachment-Based Family Therapy to help clients process difficult experiences and strengthen important relationships.
In our work together, we’ll build a strong, collaborative relationship where you feel safe to be open and honest. I tailor therapy to each person, blending emotional exploration with practical strategies that help reduce distress and create meaningful, lasting change.
The first session is a chance for us to connect. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what you’re hoping for, and begin shaping a plan that feels right for you.
My goal is to create a space that feels warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental—where you can feel seen, heard, and understood while also gaining tools to move forward with more clarity and confidence.
Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, but you don’t have to figure things out on your own. I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
