We are a locally owned, therapist-led practice. We take pride in having accessible therapists who will work with you from the initial contact, to schedule an appointment or to help you find the right fit for your needs.
We work with people ages 5 and older, helping with a wide variety of concerns. We provide individual, couples, and family therapy.

about Matthews Counseling
Matthews Counseling, LLC is a husband-and-wife-owned practice in Chester County (Lionville/Exton), PA.
Dr. Jesse Matthews, a clinical psychologist, started the practice in 2014, forming a group in 2019 to meet the growing demand for services in the community.
We currently have a team of 9 therapists:
Jesse Matthews, PsyD; Erin Matthews, MS, LPC; Brian Hickman, MEd, LPC;
Sarah Youse, LCSW, CCTP, CCATP; Carli Surak, MS; Tyler Hempsey, MA, LPC; Emily Burgess, MA, LAPC;
Maria Palumbo, LSW; and Alizah Kaplove, LSW.
We offer services in our Exton office and online throughout Pennsylvania.
