Dr. Alexandria DiGuiseppe

Dr. DiGuiseppe earned a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) and an M.S. in Clinical Psychology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, an M.S. in Experimental Psychology from St. Joseph’s University, and a B.A. in Psychology from Immaculata University. Dr. DiGuiseppe works with clients ages 18 and older who experience anxiety, adjustment challenges, acute stress, and grief. While working within an integrated medical setting, Dr. DiGuiseppe has also treated patients with co-morbid physical and mental health concerns, including medication adherence, smoking cessation, and sleep disturbances.

 

As a clinician, Dr. DiGuiseppe’s therapeutic approach is goal-oriented and solution-focused, and utilizes Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Dr. DiGuiseppe recognizes that empathy, respect, and collaboration are critical when helping clients navigate life’s challenges. She also focuses on her client’s unique experiences and perspectives, and aims to create a supportive and non-judgmental therapeutic environment.

 

In her down time, Dr. DiGuiseppe enjoys spending time with her family, reading, cooking, traveling, and skiing.
